Mari-Lynn Hughes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Luis Hughes of Marco Island, Fla. and Rehoboth Beach, Del., and James Kenneth McGregor, son of Mr. and Mrs. William James McGregor of Bethesda, Md., were married on Saturday, June 27 at Holy Redeemer Church in Kensington, Md. The reception was held at Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase.
For her wedding day the bride chose a white chiffon gown with accents of seed pearls on the schiffli lace bodice, wedding band neckline and the chapel length train. Framing her face was a chapel length veil of schiffli lace. Martina Hughes was her sister's maid of honor; Mary Fisher, Beth Mulvehill, Christine Whalen, Diane Stone, Mary Kelly Roche and Betty Jane Bush, the bridesmaids. The best man was Thomas McGregor assited by Michael J. and Mark Hughes; William II and Bernard McGregor with Peter Fisher and John Sieve.
The bride, a graduate of the School of the Holy Child and Marymount College of Virginia, is a teacher in College Park, Md. The groom is a graduate of St. John's College High School and the Catholic University of America. He is an accountant in Washington, D.C. After a honeymoon in Bermuda, the couple will reside in Rockville.
