Wedding bells rang this weekend for Yasmin Aga Khan, daughter of actress Rita Hayworth and the late Aly Khan, and Greek shipping heir Basil Embiricos. They were married Saturday in a Greek Orthodox ceremony in Paris. They had been married in a civil ceremony in New York in May . . .

One-time aides to former president Jimmy Carter are planning a Labor Day reunion at Carter's home town, Plains, Ga., for former White House staffers and reporters who covered the Carter presidency. Carter and his wife Rosalynn plan to be on hand for the festivities, which one aide says will be "a weekend of softball, gnats and red clay" . . .

Has Boy George changed his image? In the July issue of GQ magazine he seems to have gone preppy in a photo spread "Boy George as a Man." "I can do anything. I can look exotic, I can look ordinary. I can look preppy," says the singer. "That's why I like doing it. That's the whole idea of being creative" . . .

Country singer Donna Fargo says she was physically abused by U.S. customs agents Thursday, when she and her husband, Stanley Silver, were stopped in Detroit just after crossing the Canadian border. Fargo says a customs agent became offended when the couple asked him to remove his shoes or place towels on the floor before entering their $450,000 refurbished bus. The singer says she was handcuffed and searched bodily. Customs officials said the "Fargo party was searched and released" and would not comment further pending an investigation . . .

Robert and Lois Bentz, the only couple tried and acquitted in the Scott County, Minnesota, child sexual abuse case, have sold the rights to their story to Orion television . . .

British singer and actor Mark Lindsay and Japanese-American actress Kim Miori will play John Lennon and Yoko Ono in an NBC movie about their lives . . .

Rhythm and blues musician Ike Turner was in jail Saturday in Los Angeles, accused of conspiring to sell cocaine. He had been arrested Friday with two other members of the music community at his home in the North Hollywood area following a three-week investigation by Pasadena police.

Former automaker John Z. DeLorean and model Cristina Ferrare are expected to testify Wednesday in a New Jersey court, where a judge will decide whether New Jersey is the right place to divide the couple's property and assign custody of their two children. Ferrare wants the property issue to be settled in California, where the community property law would guarantee her half of the assets acquired during their 11-year marriage. DeLorean wants the issue settled in New Jersey, where the couple have an estate and where there is an equitable-distribution law under which a spouse can get from all to nothing.

Jennifer Charlton, who had been Miss Montgomery County, was crowned Miss Maryland Saturday night and will represent the state in the Miss America pageant this September.
