Abigail McCarthy, separated from husband Eugene McCarthy, former senator and presidential candidate, has teamed up with Jane Muskie, wife of Edmund Muskie, former senator, secretary of state and presidential candidate, to write a political thriller titled "One Woman Lost." In honor of its 20th anniversary, Washingtonian magazine has designed a poster featuring some of its past covers. Included is a picture of one cover that never appeared: Nancy Reagan's face superimposed over another woman's body in a pose reminiscent of the movie "The Seven Year Itch." The cover never made it into print, according to a spokesman for the magazine, because "we decided that Nancy Reagan was not Marilyn Monroe" . . .
