Danish model Brigitte Nielsen said in Rome yesterday that she plans to seek a divorce from Sylvester Stallone, confirming reports of the couple's split-up. "My separation from Sylvester is a private affair. I can only add that motives published are not true," Nielsen said during an appearance in the Rome studios of the Italian television network Canale 5. Reports have said Nielsen was leaving the American star of "Rambo" and "Rocky" for her secretary.

Court Limits Holm's Picketing "Dynasty" star Joan Collins obtained a court order yesterday to prevent her estranged husband Peter Holm from picketing within 750 yards of her Beverly Hills mansion. Holm, who is seeking $80,000 a month in temporary spousal support, began picketing this week to protest his eviction from another house he once shared with the actress.

Collins' lawyer, Marvin Mitchelson, said he requested the order because his client was concerned about Holm's "bizarre behavior." Superior Court Commissioner Robert Schnider granted it but refused to bar the picketing altogether, citing Holm's constitutional right to free speech.

Holm said he felt "pathetic" pacing alone outside Collins' house with a protest sign, but said it was the only way he could get publicity for his side in the couple's bitter divorce proceedings.

The couple is scheduled to return to court Monday for a decision on the spousal support, which Collins is contesting.

Liberace's House as a Shrine Liberace's sister has announced plans to raise $5 million to buy and convert her brother's palatial home in Las Vegas into a shrine to the entertainer who died of AIDS in February.

Angie Liberace says the mansion "is just as much a shrine" as Elvis Presley's Graceland estate in Memphis and should be preserved. But because Liberace's multimillion-dollar estate was placed in the control of his lawyer and accountant, who intend to sell the mansion, $5 million will have to be raised to buy the home, she said at a news conference Thursday. "The home should always belong to the public," his sister said. "I know from many conversations with Lee {Liberace's nickname} that this was his wish. We can save my brother's home with support from his friends, fans and his colleagues."

Landis Said to Buy Hudson's House Director John Landis is the rumored buyer of Rock Hudson's hacienda overlooking Beverly Hills, Calif., the Los Angeles Times has reported. Recently acquitted of involuntary-manslaughter charges in the "Twilight Zone" case, the director of "National Lampoon's Animal House" and "Trading Places" bought the late actor's home in the name of Beverly Crest Trust. The two-story Spanish-style home has a courtyard, a swimming pool, a spa and a hilltop view extending from downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Ocean.

The Pope's Opening Act in L.A. Gospel singer Sandi Patti, recording star Deniece Williams and tenor Placido Domingo will perform during festivities before a mass to be celebrated by Pope John Paul II at the Los Angeles Coliseum in September. Los Angeles Archdiocese officials said yesterday that actor Joseph Campanella is expected to deliver a narration during the celebration before the Sept. 15 mass, which is expected to draw 100,000 people. The following day, the pope is scheduled to celebrate another mass, this one for 57,000 people at Dodger Stadium.

Johnny Carson's Granddaughter A ruling is on its way in the child support dispute involving Johnny Carson's illegitimate granddaughter. After five hours of testimony Wednesday, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla., judge said he would make a prompt decision. Christopher Carson, son of the "Tonight Show" host, has been paying $125 a week to support 1-year-old Christal Carson, but the mother, Tanena Love, wants $500 a week. The case has been a bit unsettling, with Love depicted as a woman out to capitalize on the Carson name and Chris Carson described as a lazy, self-indulgent playboy who, it is claimed, told Love he had AIDS in an attempt to get her to abort the baby. Carson testified he is in good health.

Sean Penn's Antics Well, it seems that Sean Penn has goofed again. The actor, who won a delay in his 60-day jail sentence to complete film projects in West Germany and New York, has been spotted partying in Los Angeles. If reports are true, Penn, who is supposed to be in West Germany at this time, may have violated his agreement with Municipal Court Commissioner Juelann Cathey by which he won the postponement of his jail term.

Deputy City Attorney Alice Hand said Penn had been spotted in the middle of a disturbance Monday evening at a Beverly Hills restaurant. Hand added that she intends to talk to court officials on Monday for "a serious discussion about whether there's any need to delay his sentence any longer."

Penn, who is married to pop music star Madonna, is scheduled to go behind bars Aug. 1.
