FUTURE ORIOLES meet future Yankees in a three-game Carolina League series starting Sunday as the Prince William Yankees host the Hagerstown Suns in a battle for second place and D.C.-area bragging rights.

Sunday's 2 p.m. game at Prince William County Stadium also features an appearance by Ted Giannoulas, a.k.a "The Famous Chicken" who flew his San Diego coop in 1979 and nowadays free-lances. He'll sign autographs after the game. Games Monday and Tuesday start at 7:30 p.m.

Prince William, a Class A affiliate of the New York Yankees, leads the season series, 9-8, against the Baltimore Orioles' farm club. The Suns need a three-game sweep to claim bragging rights; two wins by the Yankees will clinch it. GETTING ON BASE --
