An addition to the ski report this week is Mountain Lake, a Blue Ridge resort near Roanoke with 20 kilometers of cross-country trails on its 2,600 acres. (Mountain Lake's half-century-old stone hotel was used as the setting in the hit movie "Dirty Dancing.") The resort will pay tribute to the movie with a "Dirty Dancing" weekend January 29 and 30. Some dancers from the movie will present a floor show. Other activities will include a dance contest and games.
