THE YOUNG Peoples Musical Theatre of Detroit is bringing us "Ace," a musical about the life and times of 1950s R&B legend Johnny Ace for two performances (Saturday at 8 and Sunday at 4) at the Duke Ellington School for the Arts Theatre. The event benefits First Love, a transitional home for abandoned babies awaiting foster homes or adoption, and is sponsored by the D.C. chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women.
