TWENTY-FIVE of the world's best women skiers will compete this weekend in the $30,000 Timberline Pro Classic, held at Timberline Four Seasons Resort in Davis, W. Va.
The giant slalom qualifying round starts Saturday at 10, with the finals at noon. Qualifiers and finals for the slalom races will be at the same times on Sunday.
Competitors in the race, the second stop in the nine-city Women's Pro Ski Tour, include 1993 winner Catharina Glasser-Bjerner, three-time winner Roswitha Raudaschl, top American skier Lynda McGehee-Walsh and Timberline's Julie Woodworth-Buniva.
