Sushi can be an expensive addiction -- as all are, eventually -- and one way to keep the budget at least partially in balance is to wait for the bargain moments. Sure, there are sushi buffets and all-you-can-eats and by-the-pound catch-alls and such, but some of those "bargains" can mean a dilution of quality, or of quantity -- less fish, more rice. (More filling, less taste.) The restaurants below offer a selection of nigiri at $1 apiece while making a serious effort at keeping the off-price pieces at premium.
