Afilm about the mighty Ray Charles, who died June 10, is due in theaters this fall, according to Billboard.com. "Ray" chronicles Charles's life from 1935 to 1979, and stars Jamie Foxx as the late piano legend. The curse of the canceled summer tour dates continues. Country singer Loretta Lynn, who scratched several recent shows because of a back ailment, has postponed three more -- this time because she's recuperating from a nasty bout of pneumonia, according to her Web site. And David Bowie has canceled his upcoming performance at Denmark's annual Roskilde Festival (he was set to perform Friday) because of what his Web site called his "continued condition." Last week Bowie cut short a concert in Prague because of pain in his shoulder . . .
Christina Aguilera (who, incidentally, also canceled her tour dates this summer) is reportedly working on two new albums, one of which is her second Spanish-language set, according to Billboard.com . . .
Keith Richards will perform at two Los Angeles-area concerts next month paying tribute to the late country-rock pioneer Gram Parsons. Proceeds from the shows -- which will take place July 9 at the Santa Barbara Bowl and July 10 at the Universal Amphitheatre -- will benefit the Musicians' Assistance Program, which helps members of the music industry pay for drug and alcohol addiction treatment.
