New shows! New shows! . . .

* Attention, middle- schoolers, Nickelodeon wants you! On "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" (Sunday at 7:30 p.m.), Devon Werkheiser talks to the camera, giving tips about getting through middle school -- silly, but promising. On "Unfabulous" (Sunday at 8 p.m.), Emma Roberts plays a seventh-grader trying to find her way through the maze of being 13 -- mostly with bad songs and often-funny fantasy sequences.

* The WB has two new Saturday morning cartoons: "The Batman" makes the caped crusader a bit younger and hipper. And "Da Boom Crew" has sci-fi adventures with a hip-hop beat.

* Two DVD choices for lion lovers: "Pride," a BBC production that aired on A&E, follows a young lion cub in the Serengeti. The twist is that facial expressions and voice-overs have been added to the animal footage. Of course, "The Lion King 2" is all-animated make-believe. The special edition DVD includes an animated short and featurette.

* Also coming to DVD: "The Best of Beakman's World," a TV favorite of the 1990s, and the first season of "Mork & Mindy," Robin Williams's '70s hit.

* New video games out this week: Fairly Odd Parents 2 and Carmen Sandiego: The Secret of the Stolen Drums.
