"This is going to be good." . . .
* "Corpse Bride" is not your typical boy-meets-ghoul story. (Of course, we expect weirdness from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" director Tim Burton.) The PG-rated animated film, opening Friday, is well-done and funny, with a voice cast that includes Johnny Depp.
* Two eye-popping films debut at Smithsonian IMAX theaters Friday:
"Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3D," at the Air and Space Museum, is a creative and entertaining mix of re-creations, computer-generated images and NASA footage. It tells of the dozen men who have reached that rock a half-million miles away. Tom Hanks narrates.
"Wild Safari 3D," at the Museum of Natural History, has stunning images of elephants, Cape buffalo, rhinos, leopards and lions, but it moves at a tortoise-like pace.
* TV picks: "Get Ed" (at right), tonight at 7:30 on Toon Disney with 9 a.m. weekend airings on ABC Family, is an exciting toon about teenage couriers in a futuristic world. Nick News's "Harvest of Hope" (Sunday at 8:30 p.m.) focuses on migrant working families.
* New games: Gretzky NHL '06, Tiger Woods PGA Tour '06 and Tak: The Great Juju Challenge; Pac Man World 2 and Donkey Kong King of Swing for GBA; Dig Dug Digging Strike and Whack-a-Mole for DS; Frantix for PSP.
