Weather or Not,

Here They Come!

* More monarchs!

That's not a cry for more kings, but rather what wildlife officials think they will see in Mexico this year.

Each fall tens of millions of monarch butterflies migrate from their summer homes in several U.S. states and Canada to central Mexico.

Cold weather was part of the reason that last year researchers counted the lowest number of the orange-and-black butterflies in more than 10 years.

But wildlife officials say good weather should bring a surge in the number this year. Some butterflies travel as far as 3,000 miles to spend the winter in Mexico's fir trees.

Like Magic, Potter's

'Goblet' Overflows

* Did you see "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" this weekend?

You weren't alone.

The fourth installment in the Potter series had $101.4 million in ticket sales over the weekend. That's the most money any Potter film has brought in on its first weekend. Only three other movies have made more money in an opening weekend: "Spider-Man," "Star Wars: Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith" and "Shrek 2."

More monarch butterflies are expected to reach Mexico this year. Arlana Agiliga, left, and Camille English wait to see "Goblet of Fire."
