It seemed as if every kind of house tour had already been done until Craft, Kit and Caboodle shop dreamed up their builder's tour. Even a builder's tour wouldn't be so original except that, in this case, what are being built are ministure houses. Ten houses, not all of them completed, will include a side-opening townhouse with a stained-glass window, built primarily by an eleven-year-old girl; a general store under construction, with its twin completed; a farm house; another town house; and a custom house with pegged random-width flooring. Like most new-house owners, these will be willing to answer questions about their building projects. And the get you into the mood, Craft, Kit and Caboodle will exhibit in the store dollhouse lighting, working double-hung windows, a greenhouse and a miniature art show of etchings, needlework and stained glass. As with many house tours, there will be refreshments at the start - just small refreshments, of course.
