A daily Nordair jet from Montreal flies to Frobisher Bay where there are first class accommodations at the Frobisher Inn. From Frobisher Bay, regular and frequent flights on Survair's DC-3 or Twin Otter go into Pangnirtung and Broughton Island. All types of aircraft are usually available for charter in Frobisher Bay on reasonable advance notice through Bradley Air Service: call 819/979-5810.
In Pangnirtung, rates at Peyton Lodge are $65 daily per person for bed, bath, three meals and snacks. The lodge also has bunkhouse accommodations for $15 daily which include mattress, cooking and bathing facilities. Call Ross Peyton at 819/437-8955.

A variety of tours are offered in the Auyuittuq area. Consolidated Tours, Ltd., has the most experience. Write them at: Suite 480, 550 Sherbrooke St. West, Montreal H3A 1B9. Consolidated also does the booking for Ross Peyton's famous Clearwater Fiord Tent Camp, a paradise for arctic char fishing located a day's boat ride from Pangnirtung; the season at Clearwater is mid-July to late August.
