Feeling walled in? Expand your horizons with a window.
Even if you don't have a view of the great outdoors, you
can have an original country kitchen window by Bob De
Muth, a custom tile designer from California whose work
will turn your bare kitchen walls into something special. With greenhouse plants that you never need to water or a kitchen window where the sun always shines, you can create a new dimension that will always be charming and cheerful in the smallest kitchen. Handpainted on tiles that will never fade, chip or peel, these custom designed murals are made of as many as 25 tiles (six inches by six inches) that can be installed either by you or by a professional. Available at a lower price, but just as distinctive, are the artist's handpainted house numbers to make your residence as special as you are. If you like, you can even have your family name worked into the custom design. De Muth's designs are carried exclusively at The Tile Gallery, located
across from the Washington Navy Yard.
Custom tiles. Prices begin at $5 for a single tile, $54 for house numbers, and $350 for a mural. The Tile Gallery, 810 Potomac Ave. SE. 546-
