The restaurant serves dinner Wednesday through Saturday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The menu changes weekly; reservations are recommended. Brunch is served Sunday from 12:30 to 4 p.m. It is an all-you-can-eat affair of omelettes, smoked salmon, oysters, soups and desserts for $15 per person.
To get to the inn, take I-66 west 40 miles to U.S. Route 17 north. The signpost reads "Delaplane/Paris." Continue nine miles to Virginia Route 701 and turn left a short way to Paris. The inn's parking lot is on the left, to the rear of the inn. The drive is less than 90 minutes.

To reach the inn from I-95 southbound, use Exit 11 via the 3rd Street Ramp to the fifth traffic light, which is Broad Street. Turn left to the 2300 block. There is parking behind the inn. The drive is about two hours.

Dining is available in the Old Mill Room and the Tavern. There is a dress code, and jackets are required for dinner in the Old Mill Room.
Like other large resorts, the Boar's Head offers special weekend programs occasionally. It is presenting its second annual Winter Wine Preview Feb. 21 to 23. Participants will sample wines from several small California and Washington State vineyards; attend a lecture and panel discussion on wines on Saturday; and have an opportunity to tour Charlottesville's vineyards on Sunday. The price is $249 for a single or $199 per person double occupancy. It includes two nights' lodging; Friday buffet dinner; Saturday continental breakfast and evening banquet; and Sunday breakfast or brunch.
To get to the inn, take I-66 to Gainesville, then U.S. Route 29 south to Charlottesville. Head west on the U.S. Route 250 bypass to Route 250 West. Signs direct you to the inn on the left. The drive is about two hours.
