Eastern Airlines passengers left holding tickets after the airline's bankruptcy filing last year are being offered "ticketholder relief" by the airline. Old tickets can be turned in at Eastern ticket counters, where their face value will be applied to another Eastern flight. Or old tickets can be traded in by mail -- which will take about a month to process -- for one of three options: flight vouchers worth 35 percent more than the original fare, vouchers for the original fare plus a free first-class upgrade or vouchers for the original fare plus another set for half price.
