Bargain of the Week

Northwest Airlines is offering a summer sale that includes

discounted fares for children up to age 17. An adult traveling between Washington and Denver, for example, pays a typical advance sale fare of $386 round trip, but up to two children traveling with the adult pay just $212 each. Travel must be completed by Sept. 7 and tickets must be purchased by Friday. A 14-day advance purchase is required.

Fares, which are researched Thursday, may change without notice, do not apply to all seats on all flights and are subject to restrictions. Most require advance purchase, are available only on midweek departures and require a Saturday night stay. Certain airport taxes and surcharges are not included. Contact airlines or a travel agent for fare details and airports of arrival and departure.
