Bargain of the Week

Cheaper fares to Europe for fall travel are beginning to appear. Icelandair is offering a two-for-one sale; travel with a companion, and pay as little as $378 each round trip from BWI to Copenhagen, Oslo or Stockholm. Purchase tickets by Aug. 31, and travel between Sept. 1 and Oct. 31. Delta is also offering fall deals to Europe. Sample fare: $224 each way between Reagan National and Madrid. Buy tickets by Friday, and travel Nov. 1- Dec. 13 and Jan. 10-March 23.Fares, which were researched Thursday, may change without notice, do not apply to all seats on all flights and are subject to restrictions. Most require advance purchase, are available only on midweek departures and require a Saturday night stay. Certain airport taxes and surcharges are not included. Contact airlines or a travel agent for fare details and airports of arrival and departure.
