Contest 169: State of Confusion
The military is conducting training sessions in three U.S. towns whose names make it unclear exactly what state they're in. One town is down river from Albuquerque; another is just northwest of Missouri's capital; and the final one is west of Grand Forks, N.D.
Name the towns.
Deadline for Contest 169 entries is Friday, Jan. 24, at 10 a.m. Send entries by e-mail (travtrivia@washpost .com; put the words "ETT No. 169" in the subject field); fax (202-912-3609); or U.S. mail (postcards only, please) to Extreme Travel Trivia, Washington Post Travel section, 1150 15th St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20071). One entry per person. Winner chosen at random from correct entries received. Include address and phone. Employees of The Post are ineligible to win. Entries become property of The Post, which may edit, publish, distribute and republish the info in any form, including paper and electronic media.
