Contest 176: Zoo Crew

When you signed up for an exotic safari, you thought you'd visit the Serengeti. Imagine your surprise when your guide led you to: a place in the southwest quadrant of Australia's Northern Territory; a site on the northern side of Dublin Bay, Ireland; and a town between Albuquerque and Las Cruces roughly along the Rio Grande.

Where did you go?

Results from No. 174: Far Afield

In Contest 174, we asked you to ID two sites visited by a group of snow-bound schoolchildren-a Ukrain river near the Latvian and Russian border and a Chinese town southwest of Jiangmen and south of Guangzhou. The ETTites who came up with the right answer (Snow Daze) are far smarter than we are, as Ukraine borders Belarus, not Latvia. Congratulations to Dan Weiss of Silver Spring, who receives a Travel Section mousepad for his detective work.
