Super Bowl XXV action tops off NFL Films' video yearbooks of the New York Giants and Buffalo Bills, released Thursday, just 18 days after the two teams served up the most exciting Super Bowl of them all.

These two tapes, "New York Giants: True Blue" and "Buffalo Bills: Thundering Herd," were released along with an updated version of "Super Sunday: A History of the Super Bowl" with five minutes of highlights on Super Bowl XXV, extending this volume to 70 minutes. Each is priced at $19.98 and also is available by calling 1-800-NFL TAPE. The Giants' yearbook is 59 action-packed minutes; the Bills' is 55 minutes.

"True Blue" contains about 8 1/2 minutes of Super Bowl action. "Thundering Herd" has just five minutes. Both are crammed with choice selections recapping the 1990 season from the opening games through their NFL title clash.

The tapes are keepers, enabling fans of the Giants, Bills and the NFL in general to relive the victories and losses, trials and setbacks, heartbreaks and hijinks along the road to the showdown in Tampa, Fla.

The videos are being distributed by Media Home Entertainment, whose president, Glenn Greene, said: "We are extremely pleased to be able to offer these tapes while the Silver Anniversary Super Bowl is still fresh in the people's minds. The video yearbooks have always sold well in the hometowns of the Super Bowl teams, and this year we believe we'll have an even larger appeal with such a great match-up."

Steve Sabol, president and executive director of NFL Films, feels this year's yearbooks will set sales records not only because the Big Apple is involved, but because both teams have such a large and loyal following. Most of all, the season concluded with such an exciting Super Bowl game.

The "Super Sunday: A History of the Super Bowl," which already featured much exclusive footage of some of football's greatest players and coaches in their most memorable moments in Super Bowls I through XXIV, now has a crowning jewel with the excitement of this year's down-to-the-wire, one-point victory by the Giants.

A Super Bowl XXV highlights video is scheduled for release in late spring.
