A romantic comedy, just in time for Valentine's Day fever, is offered by ABC Family Sunday when it premieres "The One" at 8 p.m.

The cable network's original movie stars Richard Ruccolo as a caterer who falls in love with a bride-to-be. Meredith Monroe is the betrothed who must choose between her fiance--a rich, handsome hockey star (Gabriel Hogan)-- and a man who shares her loves for many things including food, especially chocolate eclairs.

It comes down to whether the caterer has the nerve to stop the wedding--a full ceremony being held in the center of a hockey rink with all of the groom's loyal teammates on hand armed with hockey sticks--and tell the bride that she's "The One" for him.

SUNDAY ON THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL at 8 p.m. "Before We Ruled the Earth" airs two one-hour episodes, "Hunt or Be Hunted" about the Homo ergaster who scavenged to survive in Africa 1.7 million years ago, and "Mastering the Beast" about the Cro-Magnons 15,000 years ago, who possessed all of the abilities of modern humans: speech, reasoning skills and a belief in the afterlife. The program combines dramatizations with photo-realistic animated creatures.

SUNDAY ON ANIMAL PLANET at 8 p.m. "AKC National Agility Championship" offers unique camera placements that bring a "dog's-eye-view" of the highly competitive world of dog agility trials with all of their ins and outs, unders and overs, through hoops, tunnels and weave poles.

MONDAY ON HBO at 8 p.m. "Unchained Memories: Readings From the Slave Narratives" draws upon archival interviews with former slaves for a program of readings. Whoopi Goldberg hosts a group that includes Angela Bassett, Don Cheadle, Ossie Davis, Ruby Dee, Robert Guillaume and Samuel L. THURSDAY ON A&E NETWORK at 8 p.m. "Biography: Clara Bow--Hollywood's Silent Sexpot," the story of the poor girl from Brooklyn whose on-screen sexuality, which didn't require nudity or explicit love scenes, brought her the title of the "It" girl. Bow starred in more than 30 films during the 1920s and talked of her real-life loves with shocking candor. Hereditary mental illness and talking pictures ended her great career by the time she was 30. She died in 1965.
