Hispanic Americans are now the largest minority group in the United States. This half-hour special, hosted by Linda Ellerbee, examines the diverse culture by speaking with minority youngsters who must overcome stereotypes and other challenges as a result of their ethnic heritage.
BET COMEDY AWARDS
Tuesday at 9 p.m. on BET
Sitcom stars Tracee Ellis Ross ("Girlfriends"), Bernie Mac, George Lopez, Tisha Campbell ("My Wife and Kids") and Raven-Symone ("That's So Raven") are among those nominated.
This first-ever ceremony, hosted by Steve Harvey, honors small-screen comic actors as well as movie stars and directors.
Members of the Wayans family -- including actors, writers and brothers Keenen Ivory, Shawn, Marlon and Damon Wayans -- will be awarded the Icon Award during the two-hour show.
A pre-show special begins at 8:30 p.m.

Sports fans might do anything for a chance to play golf with Tiger Woods, but how far would their loved ones go to help them out?
This new reality series, based on a British show of the same name, features three contestants who compete in sports-related challenges, such as dropping soccer balls into a goal while strapped to a wing of a plane in flight. The last one standing wins a sports fantasy for a friend.
THE REAL ORANGE COUNTY
Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. on MTV
Touted as the true O.C., this reality show, taped in California, offers a look into the lives of privileged teenagers who live in a glamorous, prestigious beach community and are faced with major life changes as they prepare for life beyond high school.
Veering off the paved reality course, this show is free of the cliche confessionals and interviews.
FROM THE EARTH TO THE MOON
Friday at 9 p.m. on TNT
Tom Hanks directs the first installment of this 12-part miniseries, which originally aired on HBO in 1998.
Nominated for 17 Emmy Awards, the series tracks the history of NASA's Apollo space program.
Parts one and two air Friday evening. Episodes three through seven begin Saturday at 5 p.m. The complete miniseries will air Oct. 3 at 9 a.m.

Saturday at 8 p.m. on ABC Family
Superman soars to ABC Family as "Smallville" debuts on the network Saturday at 2 p.m. beginning with the pilot episode.
At 8 p.m., Brooke Burns takes fans behind the scenes with cast members' commentaries on their favorite episodes and humorous moments on the set.
The show, now in its fourth season on the WB, follows the teenage development of superhero Clark Kent as he first discovers his powers.
