* The Life with Cancer Family Center, at 2832 Juniper St., Merrifield, is sponsoring a drama workshop series for people with cancer who are interested in expressing their cancer experience through storytelling, role-playing and visualization. MENTAL ILLNESS

NAMI-DC is sponsoring a 12-week "Family-to-Family Education Program" for families of persons diagnosed with mental illness. It will take place every Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. beginning Sept. 7. Its aim: teaching families coping skills to handle a crisis, work with doctors and understand medications.
