The National Weather Forecast for Today - Rain will extend from the central Gulf states to the south Atlantic Coast and will be mixed with snow in the mid Atlantic states. Snow is likely over the Appalachians and will spread into the north Atlantic states, snow showers will continue in the northern and eastern portions of the Great Lakes region out will be ending in the Ohio Valley. A few snow showers will be scattered over the southern Rockies.
