Extended Area Outlook: For Monday through Wednesday - Fair skies period with chance of showers in western mountains Tuesday or Wednesday. Washington's normal temperature for this time of year is from 73 to 51.

The National Weather Forecast for Today Showers will be scattered in Western Washington, South Carolina, East and Central Nebraska and from Texas across OKlahoma and into lower Ohio Valley. Occasional thundershowers, will be present in those areas east of the Rockies, but will be the most prominent in northern Oklahoma, northern Arkansas and southwest Missouri. Skies will be cloudy along the central Pacific Coast, in South Carolina and in the rain area from northern Oklahoma into the lower Ohio Valley. Sunny skies will prevail elsewhere. Cool temperatures will prevail from the southern Atlantic Coast states northward into Canada and westward to include the lower Ohio Valley and Eastern portion of the Great Lakes. The rest of the nation will be mild.
