The National Weather Forecast for Today - Scattered showers will fall from the central Appalachians across the mid and north Atlantic Coast states. Thundershowers will got Florida, south Texas and southern Louisiana and isolated thundershowers will dampen the mountains of Idaho, Montana, Utah, Colorado and northern Arizona. Dry and sunny weather will prevail elsewhere. It will be hot over the central Gulf Coast region, the interior valleys of California and northwestern Montana.
