The National Weather Forecast for today - Most of the nation will be sunny to partly cloudy. Showers will be scattered over the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley, over the central and northern rockies and over the New England coast and Maine. Temperatures will be mild over middle Atlantic states, New England and northern Plains. Hot weather can be expected over the southern Plains with cool air moving into the northern Rockies.
