The National Weather Forecast for Today - Thundershowers are forecast in Michigan and from Florida to southern Louisiana. Widely scattered showers and thundershowers will occur elsewhere in the Great Lakes region and from the upper Mississippi Valley and southern Plains into the Rocky Mountain region. Other areas will be clear or partly cloudy. Little temperature change will be noted over the nation. Hot weather will continue from the southwestern Great Lakes into the central and southern sections of the Mississippi Valley and Great Plain. Mild temperatures will be found in New England and from the Pacific Coast to the northern Rockies. Warm readings will prevail elsehwere.
