The National Weather Forecast for today - Thundershowers will scatter from eastern Texas and the lower Mississippi Valley across the Gulf states to the southern Atlantic Coast. There will also be showers and thundershowers over the upper Mississppi Valley and western Great Lakes. A few showers will also fall over north-western Oregon. It will be clear or partly cloudy elsewhere. Temperatures will be warmer in Kansas and Missouri and cooler along the northern and central Pacific Coast.
