Atlantic Ocean Beaches from Cape May to Cape Hatteras: Today and Tuesday - Partly cloudy with chance of rain, highs near 80. Water temperatures should range from low to mid 70s in north to low 80s in south.

The National Weather Forecast for Today - Thundershowers will occur along the Atlantic Coast over the Appalachians and from the eastern Gulf States into the lower Mississippi Valley and east Texas. There will be a few showers in Minnesota and some isolated thundershowers in the Rocky Mountain region and Arizona. Skies will also be mostly cloudy along the north Pacific Coast but clear or partly cloudy weather will prevail elsewhere. Temperatures will be cooler in the northern Rockies and cool along the Canadian border from North Dakota to Maine. Mild weather is expected from the northern and middle Atlantic states into the northern and central Plains. Other areas will be warm.
