At its public meeting last week, the D.C. Board of Zoning Adjustment, made the following decisions:

Deferred for further report by the Municipal Planning Office an application of estate of William Cohen for approval of the continuation and extension of a parking lot at 2318 G St. NW.

Granted the rehearing of application of Thomas Quimby for a variance from the rear yard requirements to allow an addition to a dwelling which is a non-conforming structure at 34th St. NW.

Granted with conditions the rehearing of application of Sidney Margolis, as amended, for a special exception to permit the change of a non-conforming use from a retail men's clothing, haberdashery, tailoring, cleaning agency and uniform processing establishment on the first floor to a restaurant seating 60 people at 2145 G St. NW.

Denied the application of Millard R. Dean for a variance from the use provisions to permit an office building at 1755 18th St. NW.

Denied the appeal of the Citizens Association of Georgetown from the decision of the Zoning Administrator that the rebuilding of a non-conforming use and non-conforming structure does not exceed 75 per cent of constructing the entire building, with the affected premises at 2803 Olive St. NW.

Deferred the application of John M. Ellison Jr. for a variance from the use provision to allow a flat at 133 Hamilton St. NW.

Granted the application of Alice J. Hall for variances from the lot occupancy and rear yard requirements to permit an addtion to a flat that is a non-conforming structure at 156 13th St. SE.

Deferred the application of the Exxon Company, USA, for a special exception to permit modifications to a gasoline station at 2125 Alabama Ave. SE.

Denied the application of the American Trucking Association, Inc., for a special exception to establish a private parking lot for five years at 1615-16170 St. NW.

Granted for four years the application of the American Trucking Association, Inc., for a special exception to continue the use of a private parking lot at 1627-29-31 O St. NW.

Deferred the application of the Association General Contractors of American, et al., for an office building and for a variance from the use provisions to allow a savings and loan association in the building at 1925 E St. NW.

Denied the application of Jim R. and Mary Karen James for a variance from the use provisions to allow flats at 4917 and 4911 42nd St. NW.

Granted with conditions the application of the Takoma Park Baptist Church for a special exception to establish and nursery school (Spring Knolls Cooperative nursery School) on the second floor at 635 Aspen St. NW.

Granted the application of the Fort Lincoln Senior Village No. 1 for special exceptions to allow roof structures and open accessory parking spaces in front of a building for a proposed apartment and retail building at 3001 Bladensburg Rd. NE.

Denied the application of Leslie E. Alston for a variance from the use provisions to permit the storage of trucks at 2715 Central Ave. NE.

Granted the application of Theodore W. and Cecelia E. Sudia for a variance from the lot occupancy requirements to permit an addition to a dwelling which a non-structure at 1117 East capitol St. SE.

Granted the application of Bobby Joe Hatter for variances from the closed court width and area requirements and a variance from the lot occupancy requirements to permit an addition to a row dwelling which is a non-conforming structure at 108 14th St. SE.

Granted the application of Holiday Homes, Inc., for variances to permit an open parking space within 10 feet of a dwelling and to permit parking in front of dwelling at 3510, 3512, and 3514 7th St. SE.

Denied the appeal of Martin Lobel and the Capitol Hill Restoration Society, Inc., from the decision of the Acting Chief, Zoning Regulations Division, Department of Housing and Community Development, in authorizing the premises at 318 East Capitol St. NE to be converted from a rooming house to a seven unit apartment.
