Extended Area Forecast for Saturday through Tuesday - Fair with a chance of rain late Sunday or early Monday. Highs will range from the mid 60s to mid 70s, lows from the mid 40s to mid 50s. Normal Washington temperatures for the period are a high of 67 and a low of 47.

Lower Potomac and Chesapeake Bay - Fair with winds from the northwest increasing to 15 to 25 knots. Waves will increase to near 3 feet. Visibility will be 5 miles or more.

West Virginia: Today - Sunny, high in the 50s, lows mostly in the 30s. Friday - Sunny and warmer, high near 70.

The National Weather Forecast for Today - Rain will fail over New England with a chance of showers from Pennsylvania through New York and also western Washington. It will be sunny elsewhere in the past and west to the Rockies. Partly cloudy skies will cover much of the Rockies and the Far West. It will be cooler over the south Atlantic states and also over much of the area from the intermountain region to the Pacific Coast. Temperatures will be milder from the Great Lakes and the mid and upper Mississippi Valley to the Atlantic Coast. Mild weather will continue across other parts of the nation.
