Marjorie K. Seeman, 67, a resident of Arlington since 1966 died Sunday at George Washington University Hospital, where she had been admitted a week earlier after choking on a piece of food.

She was the wife of retired Army Maj. Gen. Lyle E. Seeman, who had served in the Engineer Corps.

Born in the Panama Canal Zone Mrs. Seeman grew up in the Chicago area. She had lived at numerous Army posts, including Ft. Leonard Wood in Missouri where Gen. Seeman retired in 1965. She had been active in the Grey Ladies of the American Red Cross there.

Mrs. Seeman had participated in the District Engineer Associates sponsorship of an orphan's home in Alaska and had been active in the Engineer Officer's Wives Club in Dallas. Tex.

She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Arlingo.

In addition to her husband, of the home in Arlington, she is survived by three daughters, Diane Colvin of Great Falls, Va., Nancy Cox. of Texas City, Tex., and Charlotte Snead, of Americus, Ga.; a sister, Betty Kurstedt, of Harrisonburg, Va., and 10 grandchildren.

The family suggests that expressions of sympathy may in the form of contributions to Children's Hospital.
