The National Weather Forecast for today - Snow will continue from New England and the lower Great Lakes across the upper Ohio Valley and the Appalachians. Snow will also reach from the middle Mississippi Valley through eastern portions of the central plains into northern Texas, turning to rain over central and eastern Texas across Louisiana. There will be snow flurries in the central Rockies. Rain will extend from the northern half of the Pacific Coast into the northern Plateau. Temperatures will be cold over the nation. It will be very cold over the southern half of the plains through the Ohio Valley and the Gulf of Mexico coastal states across Alabama and southern Georgia.
