The National Weather Forecast for Today - Rain will fall from the Washington State and into the northern and central Rockies with snow possible in the mountains. Rain is also likely over portions of the southern Plateau, while snow will fall from the upper Ohio Valley through the lower Great Lakes and to the coast from North Carolina through New England. Mild temperatures are forecast from the northern Pacific Coast into the western portion of the northern Plains and into the central and southern Rockies.
