Lower Potomac and Chesapeake Bay - Fair weather with visibility greater than 5 mile through today. Winds will be shifting to the north-west at 12 to 22 knots. Waves will increase to 12 to 3 feet.

West Virginia: Today - Mostly sunny and cool, highs will range from the mid 50s to mid 60s, lows will be in the 30s. Friday - Sunny, highs from the mid 50s to mid 60s.

Extended Area Forecast for Saturday through Monday - Increasing cloudness with a chance of showers Sunday or Monday, Saturday the high will be near 60s, the low in the 30s. Sunday and Monday the high will be in the 60s, the low near 56. Normal Washington area temperatures for the period are a high of 6.7 and a low of 46.

The National Weather Forecast for today - Rain of showers are likely from the Pacific Northwest into the northern Rockies, with snow showers possible in some of the higher elevations. There is also a chance of snow in the northern portions of Michigan, with rain likely through the lower Great Lakes into central and southern New England and over much of Florida. There is also a chance of showers in the Carolinas. Soes will be mostly sunny from the Southwest through the central and southern Plains and from the middle and lower Mississippi Valley to the western Apalachiana. Temperatures will be mild over much of the area from Arizona into Texas and through the south and middle Atlantic Coast states. Most of the remainder of the country can expect cool weather.
