The National Weather Forecast for today - Showers and thunder showers are possible from the northern Plains down the Missouri Valley and into the central and lower Mississippi Valley. Snow will fall across the northern Rockies. A few showers will occur along the New England coast while some snow will be falling in northern Maine. Mild temperatures will be found along the Gulf Coast and Coastal southern California. The rest of the nation will have cool temperatures. Mostly sunny skies will be seen outside of the precipitation areas.

The forecast for today indicates that the air quality will remain good.
