On Sunday, April 30, 1978, MRS. IRENE A. TURNER of 618 Princeton pl. nw., beloved mother of Mrs. Antoinette M. Parker, Miss Geneva V. Turner, Mr. Leonard F. Turner and Mr. Frederick B. Turner Jr.; also surviving are nine devoted grandchildren, Mrs. Renee C. Sprow, Mrs. Larke McNell, Miss Dolly Turner, Miss Lynne Turner, Mr. Ira Crawler, Mr. Frederick B. Turner III, Mr. Leon Turner Jr., Mr. Douglass Turner and Mr. John Turner; two devoted sisters, Mrs. Louise Hopson of Hempstead, Long Island, N.Y., and Mrs. Rubye J. Hunter, Brooklyn, N.Y.; two stepsisters, Mrs. Julia Boggs of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. Alice Woody of Carlisle, Pa.; one brother, Mr. Robert C. Malone of Raleigh, N.C.; two stepbrothers, Mr. Albert Durham of Washington, D.C., and Mr. Samuel Durham of Columbia Beach, Md.; there are many devoted nieces and nephews; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Carmen Turner of Washington, D.C.; one brother-in-law, Mr. William B. Hopson of Hampstead, Long Island, N.Y., and a host of other relatives and many friends. The late Mrs. Turner will rest in state on Wednesday, May 3, in the Israel Metropolitan CME Church, 557 Randolph st. nw., where the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. and where funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 4, at 1 p.m., the Rev.
