Extended Area Forecast for Friday through Sunday - Parity cloudywith a chance of showers late Sunday. Highs will average in the 80s with cooler readings in the mountains and at the shore, lows from the mid 50s to mid 60s. Normal Washington temperatures for the period are a high of 90 and a low of 59.

West Virginia: Today - Occasional showers and thundershowers, highs from the mid 70s to near 80 lows from the mid 50s to low 60s. Thursday - Sunny, highs from the upper 70s to mid 80s.

The National Weather Forecast for today - Scattered shower and thundershowers will reach from the mountains of the Carolinas [WORD ILLEGIBLE] eastern Kentucky and the upper Ohio Valley, and eastward across Pennysylania and Virginia to the Atlantic Coast. Rain will fall over southern New England. Scattered showers will be also reach from the Pacific Northwest across Montana into North Dakota and over Nevada and Utah. Isolated thunderstorms will occur over the Sierra Nevadas. Elsewhere skies will be partly cloudy. Cool temperatures will remain over teh Pacific Northwest, eastern Montana and Utah. Warm weather will continue from the northern Great Plains across the Great lakes through New England. It will be warmer over the central Plains and the mid Mississippi Valley.
