Lenox Annex, 4th and M streets SE. Special education.
Powell Annex, 13th and Allison streets NW.
Webster, 19th and H streets. Special education.
In addition, Reed has suggested closing two other old school buildings now used for administrative offices: Madison, 10th and G streets NE, and Morgan Annex, 17th and Euclid streets NW.
Under Reed's plan, nine of the buildings would be kept by the system for other uses, including a shift in school administration headquarters from rented offices at 415 12th St. NW to Lincoln Junior High School. The other buildings would either be torn down or turned over to the D. C. Department of General Services, which then could give them to another government agency or sell them as surplus property.
