Metrobus service changes affecting Virginia riders will begin Monday.

Limited stop restrictions will be changed on several routes that serve the Rosslyn travel corridors so that more passengers may have express service.

Some trips at the beginning or the end of rush hour will be eliminated because there are too few passengers and alternate service is available. Other trips will be adjusted to leave at times more convenient to the passengers. Detailed changes by route are:

1K and 1M: Inbound trips will operate locally between Annandale and Livingston Street, with alighting only permitted thereafter. Outbound trips will make stops for boarding passengers between Rosslyn station and Livingston Street, with local service provided thereafter.

3H, 3T and 3R: Inbound trips will operate locally between Tysons Corner and Lee Highway and Albemarle Street with alighting only permitted thereafter. Outbound trips will permit boarding between Rosslyn Station and Glebe Road, with local service provided thereafter.

3K and 3W: Inbound trips will operate locally between Fairfax and Lee Highway and Albermarle Street with express service thereafter. Outbound trips will operate express to Lee Highway and Glebe Road, providing local service thereafter.

3V: Inbound trips will operate locally to Lee Highway and Sycamore Street, providing express service to Rosslyn thereafter. Outbound trips will operate express to Lee Highway and Sycamore Street, providing local service to Vienna thereafter.

5X: Boarding will be allowed at all inbound stops.Alighting will be allowed at all outbound stops.

11W: Boarding and alighting will be allowed at all inbound stops in Fairfax County, and at King and Washington Streets, National Airport and in the District. On outbound trips, boarding and alighting will be permitted at all stops in the District, at National Airport, King and Washington streets and in Fairfax County.

19G: The 6:50 a.m. trip leaving Rte. 1 and Huntington will be changed to leave at 6:45 a.m., and will be rerouted via the Pentagon station. The 4:15 p.m., 4:35 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. trips from 10th and Pennsylvania Avenue also will be rerouted via the Pentagon station. The 4:32 p.m., 4:52 p.m. and 5:32 p.m. trips from the Pentagon will be adjusted to leave at 4:38 p.m., 5 p.m. and 5:39 p.m. The 6:40 a.m. Rte 19/G trip leaving Rte. 1 and Hungtington will be eliminated.

20 and 20X: Outbound trips will operate locally.

20K and 20W: Inbound trips will operate locally until Arlington Boulevard and Annandale Road. Stops for Boarding and alighting will be permitted at Arlington Boulevard and Patrick Henry Drive, Montague Street, Glebe Road and Fillmore Street and Fairfax Drive at Lynn Street. On outbound trips, boarding and alighting will be permitted only at Fort Myer Drive and Fairfax Drive, Arlington Boulevard and Fillmore Street, Glebe Road, Montague Street and Patrick Henry Drive. Local service will be provided after Annandale Road.

28A and 28B: At the request of residents of the Swann-Daingerfield House, the terminal stand for weekend and holiday service will be moved to King and Washington streets.

29B: The 4:56 p.m., 5:03 p.m. and 5:17 p.m. trips from the Pentagon will be adjusted to leave at 5 p.m., 5:05 p.m. and 5:20 p.m.

28G: The 4:49 p.m., 5:29 p.m. and 5:39 p.m. trips from the Pentago will be adjusted to leave at 5 p.m., 5:05 p.m. and 5:20 p.m.

29E: The 6:10 a.m., 6:28 a.m. and 7:53 a.m. trips leaving Little River Turnpike and Lake Drive will be adjusted to leave at 6:12 a.m., 6:30 a.m. and 7:55 a.m. and will be rerouted via the Pentagon station. The 4:20 p.m., 4:40 p.m. and 5 p.m. trips from 10th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue will be rerouted via the Pentagon station and will be adjusted to leave at 4:22 p.m., 4:42 p.m. and 5:02 p.m.

29/G: The 6:30 a.m., 6:47 a.m. and 8:07 a.m. trips scheduled to leave Heritage Mall will be eliminated. The 8:02 a.m. trip leaving Heritage Mall will be adjusted to leave at 8:04 a.m.

29H: The 4:40 p.m. trip from the Pentagon will be adjusted to leave at 4:43 p.m.
