Atlantic Ocean Beaches from New Jersey to North Carolina: Today - Partly cloudy and humid with a chance of morning showers at the northern beaches. Highs will average in the mid 80s. Monday - Partly cloudy, high in the 80s. The southern beaches will be partly sunny with temperatures in the 80s. Water temperatures will be in the upper 60s to the north and the lower 70s to the south.

Extended Area Outlook for Tuesday through Thursday: Warm and humid with mostly sunny days through the period. Highs will range from the mid 80s to the low 90s. Lows will average in the upper 60s. Normal Washington temperatures for the period will be a high of 86 and a low of 66.

The National Weather Forecast for Today - Scattered showers and thundershowers will extend from Arkansas across the middle Mississippi and the Ohio Valleys through the eastern portions of the Great Lakes region, Pennsylvania, New York and New England. There is a chance of widely scattered thundershowers over parts of Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi and the gulf coast region. Showers will also be scattered from the northern parts of Washington and Idaho across Montana. Most skies elsewhere will be sunny or fair. It will be cooler from the central Great Plains across the upper and middle Mississippi and the lower Ohio Valley.

Warmer temperatures will be recorded from the northern inter-mountain region across the northern Plains. Elsewhere it will be mild, with hot weather continuing over the southwest deserts.
