The National Weather Forecast for today - Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely over the Ohio and the mid Mississippi Valleys, the lower Great Lakes region and Florida. There will be scattered showers and thundershowers in New York and the mountains of northern New England, the remainder of the Gulf Coast states and the Plains. Mostly isolated thundershowers will be found over the Rockies, eastern Idaho and the northern portions of Utah, Nevada and eastern Oregon. Sunny skies will prevail elsewhere.
