Prince George's residents who have not registered to vote must do so by Aug. 14 in order to vote in the gubernatorial primary on Sept. 12 and the Nov. 7 general elections.
Voters may register at the Board of Marlboro, Monday through Friday (except holidays) from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Registration may also be done by mail. Applications may be picked up at any Prince George's County public library or at the municipal building in any of the county municipalities. They may also be obtained by calling 627-2811.

In addition, the Board of Election Supervisors has opened 11 special voter registration sites.These sites will be open on July 28, Aug. 4 an Aug. 11 between 6 and 9 p.m. and on July 29, Aug. 5 and Aug. 12 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The special sites are located at: Padgett's Corner - Giant Food Store; Clinton Plaza - Giant Food Store; Fre-estate Mall - Giant Food Store; Landover Mall - Hecht Company (upper level, near domestics); Laurel Shopping Center - Hecht Company (near the shoe department); Prince George's Plaza - Hecht Company (lower level, entrance to the credit office); Beltway Plaza - near the Dip-Dog Shop; Capital Plaza ; Montgomery Wards (across from the catalog department); Hampton Mall - in the theater lobby; Iverson Mall - upper level, near Richman Brothers, and the Marlboro Square Shopping Center - A&P Store.
