Atlantic Ocean Beaches from New Jersey to North Carolina: Today and Sunday - Partly sunny, high in the 80s. Water temperatures will be in the mid 70s to the north and around 80 in the south.

West Virginia: Today - Partly cloudy and mild in northern portions, while warm and humid in the southern half of the state. There will be a chance of scattered afternoon or evening thundershowers today and Sunday. Highs will range from the mid 70s to the mid 80s and lows in the upper 60s. Sunday - Partly cloudy, high in 80s.

Extended Area Outlook for Monday through Wednesday: There will be a dry period with cool weather on Monday with warm and humid conditions on Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s and lows will be in the low to mid 60s. Normal Washington temperatures for the period will be a high of 85 and a low of 66.

The National Weather Forecast for today - Showers and thunderstorms will extend from the eastern northern Plains into the upper Great Lakes. Widely scattered thundershowers will range from portions of the Pacific northwest into the western two thirds of the northern Plains through the Ohio Valley and Atlantic Coast states and from the southern Rockies through the Gulf of Mexico coast region. Daytime high temperatures will continue in the upper 90s to low hundreds across the Southwest desert region, in portions of the central Plains and in parts o the middle Mississippi Valley. Highs in the 70s will prevail from the Pacific northwest through the northern Rockies and from the Great Lakes through the north Atlantic coast states. Much of the remainder of the nation can expect readings in the 80s and 90s.
