Lower Potomac and Chesapeake Bay - Fair with visibility of 5 miles or more. Winds will be from the southwest at near 10 knots.

West Virginia: Today - Mostly sunny and warmer, highs in the 60s, lows from 30 in the northeast to the mid 40s in the southwest. Wednesday - Increasing cloudiness with a chance of showers, high in the 60s.

The National Weather Forecast for today - There will be showers or thundershowers over the northwestern of the Pacific Northwest, and from the Lake Michigan area into western New York state. Skies will be mostly sunny from the interior of California across the Plateau, the northern and central Plains to the upper Great Lakes, from the lower Mississippi Valley to the Georgia/South Carolina coast, and over eastern portions of the middle and northern Atlantic Coast states. Temperatures will be warm across western California and southern Florida. Mild to cool temperatures will prevail throughout much of th remainder of the nation.

The forecast for today indicates that the air quality will remain good.
