On Thursday, October 18, 1978, COLONEL GLENN T. PILLSBURY, of 813 Morningside dr., San Antonio, Tex. He entered the Army in 1940, commissioned through the ROTC program of the University of Illinois. He was retired from Ft. Sam Houston, after service with the 4th and 5th U.S. Army Headquarters, as deputy chief of staff, personnel and asst. chief of staff. His awards include the Leglon of Merit with 3 Oakleaf Clusters, the Bronze Star Medal with the "V" device for Valor, the Purple Heart and the Distinquished Unit Citation. Survivors, wife, Madge J. Pittsbury; son, Glenn Gray Pittsbury, San Diego, Cal., three grandsons; brother Earl L. Pittsbury, Petersburg, Ill.; sister Rozena Binger, Mason City, Ill. Services Saturday afternoon, 2 p.m., at the Post Chapel at Fort Sam Houston, Tex., Chaplain Col. Cloma A. Huffman Ret., officiating.
